HEINZ CAMPAIGN

This project was a collaboration between my Advertising & Graphic Design program and a Media Communications program. On our side we had to choose a brand and create an idea on how we would want to promote it. The whole point was to only use the pictures we would take on the photoshoot day. We can't use any stock images, we have to shoot the campaign ourselves.

Me and my teammate decided to make a campaign for Heinz ketchup. I found some images of messy eating online and they really inspired me to create something similar, with a context of "when the food is good, it gets messy. when the food is good - it has to be Heinz."

We had an online meeting with our photographers to discuss the ideas and decided on who is bringing what to the photoshoot. We didn't need a lot of things, just a few ketchup bottles, some plain background, and food that we can smash.

The results were incredible. Our photographers were very open to real-time feedback and quickly adapted to new ideas. This made our process run very quickly and easily.
At the end we decided to make our ads very minimalistic, a simple description of words like "messy, mucky, dirty". I truly love how the end result came out.
